Fourth Grade News

       The fourth grade classes study the following units: Animal Behavior, Electric Circuits/Magnets and  Landforms in science.
       All classes are conquering many math concepts from our Everyday Math series. They include working with rate tables, finding area and volume, symmetry and, as always, multiplication and division.
       We continue to read many fascinating novels. Our students will utilize Power Point skills as a form of explanation of their stories.
       In writing this year, we continue to write both fictional and personal narrative pieces.
       Finally, in social studies we continue to work our way through the regions of the United States. We are also working to sharpen our map skills.
