Mrs. Aubin

The Music Program at Moriarty School provides  the following opportunities to all students in grades K-5:
  • to give students an informed acquaintance with quality music of various genres, styles, cultures and historical period.
  • to celebrate cultural diversity as an important American privilege.
  • to enable students to acquire interpersonal skills, self-discipline, perseverance, the collaborative spirit, enhancing their ability to function as productive members of the community.
  • to empower students with musical knowledge and experiences to develop a lifelong commitment to music as a creator, performer and/or consumer.
  • to provide students with a vehicle for self-expression, communication, and creative thinking.

In conclusion, Music is a basic expression of humanity; therefore every student at Moriarty School will have access to a balanced, comprehensive, and sequential program in Music.
