Target their efforts to personalized learning support.
Community-based
science and math focus.
Develop hands-on science and math projects
based on such things as wastewater treatment, wind power, energy and resource
conservation, and others. Assign contacts to streamline communication.
History,
culture, and language embedded in the curriculum.
Revise existing lessons and learning
experiences to include the rich history, culture, and language of the diverse
students and families living in Norwich today.
Strategic cost
savings and strategic investments.
Reduce costs in some budget categories while
strengthening learning programs and infrastructure.
Community
organizations in the schools.
Welcome community organizations into the
schools. Where appropriate, generate revenue for the schools from these
activities. Prioritize organizations that offer direct benefit to learners or
their families.
