Special People Reaching Out Unconditionally To Students

Join the growing team of volunteers and support the growth and development of Norwich Students.  Students are recommended to the program by Parents, Teachers, and Principals throughout the school year.  As mentors come forward to volunteer, the Extended Learning Coordinator will make a match accoridng to the Mentor's location/age preferences.

After a training and background check, SPROUTS mentors are matched with a Norwich student for at least a year.  The match will meet for up to an hour a week for the duration of the school year.  We encourage Mentors to return the following year if they can.  Some matches have continued for over five years making a lasting impact for both the adult and child. 

We accept volunteers at any point during the year.  While we accept any adult who is interested, we need to grow the diveristy and depth of our Male Volunteer pool.  Sign up with a friend or colleague.  You will not regret it!
