April Newsletter 2012

 

This month the students have been reviewing all  their sight words, and beginning to recognize their 8 color words.

Orange

Red

Blue

Purple

Yellow

Brown

Black

Green

 

In Math we have enjoyed doing the Macarena math song.

We practiced counting by 1’s 2’s 5’s and 10’s.

 

We had a wonderful time watching the  musical Seussical play, that the P.T.O. provided for us.

 

In science, we studied about the  5 senses. We did this by

Touching,Hearing,Tasting, Seeing, and Smelling different items and discussing what we discovered.

 

We also  learned that the season is spring, and the month is April and the weather is  rainy!

We had a good time painting ducks with umbrellas for the bulletin board. We are looking forward to a sunny and dry season in May!
