8:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

90 Minute Delay: 
School starts at 9:30 a.m.

School starts at 10:00 a.m.

Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

General Information

Arrival
Both Kelly Middle School and Teachers’ Memorial Middle School have a start time of 8:00 A.M.
Children are not allowed to enter the building before 7:45 A.M. As there is no staff to supervise
children, please do not drop your child off any earlier than 7:45 A.M. each day. Additionally, on
delayed openings due to weather matters, students cannot be dropped at school prior to the
assigned time (e.g. If school is delayed until 9:30 A.M., students cannot be dropped prior to 9:15
A.M.).

Dismissal
All students will be dismissed according to their regular bus/transportation/after school-care
arrangements each day beginning at 2:45 P.M. Students may stay after school only if enrolled in
a supervised program or at the request of the teacher.

Early Dismissal
Parent Pick-Ups and Walkers - It is important that your child attend school for the complete
school day. However, if it becomes necessary to have your child dismissed from school prior to
the 2:45 P.M. dismissal time, please send in a note that explains your expected pick up time. No
child is to leave the building unescorted during the school day. Parents must sign students out in
the school office if they wish to pick students up before the regular dismissal time.

On early dismissal days (ED), both middle schools will begin at 8:00 A.M. and dismiss at
12:45 P.M. Please note that scheduled early dismissal days for the 2010–2011 school year
include: November 3, 4, 5, 24, December 23, March 30, 31, April 1, and the last day of school.
