Music

In keeping with our Middle School Philosophy, Kelly's General Music class offers students the chance to:

  • Explore a wide range of music experience through dance, song, and performance
  • Develop a basic sense of rythm, melody, and expression
  • Reinforce self-confidence in their natural abilities as they grow
  • Extend their reading skills with weekly music articles, such as "Music Alive" and through the subtle connections between words/lyrics, sounds, feelings, and meanings
