In the fourth grade students move from basic multipication and division to longer problems involving several digits, then applying those skills to word problems. Students are also introduced to algebra, probablility, fractions, and decimals.

In science, we study electricity, landforms, and animal behavior and habitats.

Social studies instruction concentrates on the regions and landforms of the United States. The focus for non-fiction reading is text features, including headings, captions, and bold printed words.
