Welcome to Teachers' Memorial Middle School.  Our school is located in Norwich, Connecticut and has a diverse student body comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  They are divided into teams of approximately 90 students each.  Each student receives a core curriculum of language arts, math, science and social studies.  Special subjects and an enrichment program are also components of each student's schedule.

Teachers' Memorial continues an initiative called Positive Behavior Support (PBS).  The PBS initiative is an approach to creating and maintaining a positive school climate.  School environments that are positive, preventive, predicatable and effective are safer, healthier and more caring.  It is our hope that students and parents alike will embrace our initiative to develop components of respect, recognition, responsibility and readiness to learn.

Our school is a recipient of the prestigious 21st Century Learning Grant which allows ample opportunities for after school programs called ASPIRE. 

The Teachers' Memorial staff is committed to excellence in academic programs and services, which are offered to our students and their families.  We encourage each student to study, learn, participate, contribute and make a difference in a positive manner.  The many enjoyable and worthwhile experiences enhance each student's edcuational background.
