The music program introduces your child to quality music of various genres, styles, cultures, and historical periods.  It also allows students to acquire interpersonal skills, self-discipline, and perseverance.  Our program will provide students with musical knowledge and experiences toward developing a lifelong enjoyment of music. We encourage self-expression, communication, and creative thinking. Each class consists of singing a familiar song, learning a new song, movement, music reading, and instrument playing.  The lower grades use rhythm instruments to accompany songs, while the upper grades use keyboards to enhance their musical abilities. 

Along with weekly classes, the music department also offers chorus to select 4th and 5th grade students as well as instrumental lessons to 5th grade students.
