Program goals for physical education at Uncas School are modeled after the State of Connecticut Guide to Program Development based on Connecticut content strands for physical education.

Students will demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in a variety of physical activities.
Students will make decisions to establish and maintain a healthy lifestyle to promote individual wellness throughout his/her life.
Students will  be able to recognize  and understand the different effects of physical activity on one's mind and body.
Students will be able to develop interpersonal cooperative skills and exhibit positive character traits during physical activity.
Some examples of physical activities are:

Balance Striking Tinikling Dance
Fitness
 Cooperative
Games 
Golf 
 Frisbee Recess  Games
