Interested in Becoming a Paraeducator?
Norwich Public Schools Adult Education is offering a FREE Paraeducator Pathway Program designed to help individuals prepare for a rewarding career supporting students in the classroom.
The program includes instructor-led support, Study.com preparation materials, the ParaPathways assessment fee, and one assessment retake — all at no cost to participants.
Classes begin October 13 at Kelly Middle School.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Space is limited, and registration is still open. Register today!

Norwich Transition Academy Information Night
Join us on Wednesday, October 21 from 5:00–7:00 PM to learn more about Norwich Transition Academy and the services available to help students prepare for adulthood.
Enjoy a school tour, Q&A session, light refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with community agencies.

Norwich Opportunity Center
The Norwich Opportunity Center, located at the Norwich Department of Social Services Resource Center, offers support and connections to programs including SNAP, Care 4 Kids, housing assistance, employment services, WIC, and energy assistance. Families can complete the free CT Eligibility Prescreener to learn more about available benefits and schedule an appointment.
NPS Loft – Supporting NPS Families
The NPS Loft is a free resource space for all Norwich Public Schools students and families, located in the Adult Education Building at 191 Hickory Street.
Hours:
Wednesdays: 9:30 AM–1:00 PM
Thursdays: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
Families can stop by during open hours to access clothing, shoes, hygiene products, school supplies, and other resources, or to drop off donations.
