Care 4 Kids helps low to moderate income families in Connecticut pay for child care costs. This program is sponsored by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. The website includes an eligibility screening tool and also allows you to apply online.

Thames Valley Council for Community Action Head Start and Early Head Start
Federally funded program for parents and preschool children 3 – 5 years old. A comprehensive school readiness program that welcomes children with documented disabilities, providing services accordingly.

Eligibility is based on the child’s age, household income, and family needs. All fees are based on a sliding fee scale determined by your income (Head Start part-day and Early Head Start programs are offered at no fee).
