Extended Learning
Norwich Public Schools Extended Learning programs (Aspire, Bridges, and TOP) provides after-school and summer learning programs during non-school hours. Enrichment activities expose students to new experiences and opportunities. These programs are aligned with school-day initiatives and link to the community through project-based learning. Norwich Public Schools collaborates with Norwich Human Services- Youth & Rec Division and other community based organizations to support extended learning programs within our schools.

Our Mission
It is the mission of the extended learning department to expose every young person to experiences which foster their creativity and passion, allowing all children to achieve their own potential and develop the confidence and ability to visualize a successful future with infinite possibilities.
Funding
Funding for the NPS Extended Learning programs are made possible by the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut, Connecticut After School Network funds, and the 21st Century Community Learning Center grants.

If you are interested in programming for 2024-2025 school year, click the appropriate tab below to access the registration form. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Each site has limited capacity.
Once registration opens, an Extended Learning staff member will contact families to confirm enrollment. Please note that completion of this form does not guarantee enrollment in the 2024-2025 school year program.
