Pre-Payment Options

Norwich Public Schools meets federal nutrition standards ensuring that meals are healthy, well balanced and provide students all the nutrition they need to succeed at school.

All Meals that meet the USDA's guidelines are FREE for ALL STUDENTS

***There is a cost for items such as additional lunch entrees, etc. If you allow your student to purchase items such as a water, milk, additional entree - please make sure they have cash or check in had or money in their account to pay for the purchase. There is no charging to an account.***

The Food Service Department uses the NutriKids computerized system in all cafeterias. Each student has their own account and pin number, and deposits in any amount may be made to the student’s personal account. Any time you have questions about your child’s account, you may contact your child(ren)’s cafeteria manager for a “History Transaction Report”, which shows all transactions made in a student’s account.
MySchoolBucks has a smartphone app, which makes paying for school meals even easier during the school year. Now parents have one more way to conveniently pay for their students meals!

Please take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and gives students more time to eat. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

You can also set up in your account to receive "low balance notification" emails based on the amount you choose. When your child's balance goes below that amount, an email message will be automatically sent to the email address in your user profile.

Hover your mouse cursor over Meal Accounts and click Cafeteria Meal History. A list of purchases made in the cafeteria will appear. Please note that only up to the last 90 consecutive days will be displayed under your child's transaction history.

Things to know about MySchoolBucks:

The convenience fee per transaction is $ 2.75.

MySchoolBucks accepts debit, credit, and e-check payments.

MySchoolBucks accepts Visa, Discover, and Mastercard credit card payments

Parents may fund up to $120 per student, but a family may pay for all of their students on a single transaction.

On-line Payments
Online payments are a simple, safe and secure way to make payments to your students account 24 hours a day at your convenience. 

Send Check or Cash
You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name, their ID #, their teacher's name, the $ amount and the check #. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.
