Communications
The NPS Office of Communications supports the district’s administrators and Board of Education in all communication-related decisions and initiatives. The office is responsible for developing, managing, and supporting communications that inform, engage, and connect with both internal and external audiences.
Our responsibilities include:
-
Strategic communication for internal and external stakeholders, including families, staff, community members, government agencies, and the media
-
Crisis communication and district-wide mass notifications
-
Website content management and social media oversight
-
Creation and distribution of news releases, newsletters, and marketing materials
-
Upholding and promoting district brand standards
-
Responding to public and media requests for information
We are committed to fostering transparent, timely, and effective communication across the Norwich Public Schools community.
Media Visit Request Form
Thank you for your interest in visiting Norwich Public Schools! We value opportunities to share the achievements of our students and staff with the broader community.
To ensure a smooth and respectful visit, all media inquiries — including interviews, event coverage, or photography/videography — must be approved in advance by our Communications & Family Engagement Coordinator, Yelitza Brooks.
Planning a visit?
Please complete the Media Visit Request Form below if your request is being submitted at least 72 hours in advance. This allows us time to confirm permissions for students and staff to be photographed or filmed.
For all press inquiries, contact:

Help Us Improve the NPS Website!
Notice something not working or out of date? Whether it's a broken link, outdated info, or something that just doesn’t look right, we want to know! Please use the form below to report any errors you’ve found. Your feedback helps us keep the website accurate, accessible, and up-to-date for all families, students, and staff.
Flyer Submission & Distribution
As part of our ongoing commitment to be more environmentally friendly and to ensure stakeholders have quick and easy access to critical information, the District of Norwich Public Schools (NPS) no longer distributes paper flyers. Digital flyer distribution will be the only method of flyer distribution within the District.
