Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated.
EXPOSURE: If a student is exposed to Covid outside of their home or school (a party, sleepover etc.), and they are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, the quarantine period is five full days. Students may return on the sixth day following an exposure, provided the student is well and asymptomatic.
POSITIVE TEST: Isolation period is five full days for students who tested positive. If on day six symptoms have significantly improved (no fever present, and no Tylenol or Advil used to treat the fever in the 24 hours prior to day six) the student may return to school.
If a student is exposed to Covid in their home, the quarantine period is five days after the last day of exposure. Since the positive person's isolation period is five days, the unvaccinated or partially vaccinated person must complete the in-home positive isolation of five days and then begin their five day quarantine. This is because the last day of exposure is the end of the positive person's isolation period.
