COVID-19 Symptoms = Mandatory mask
If you have a household exposure to COVID-19 but are completely well you may come to school with or without a mask. As always, we are happy to provide a COVID test and/or mask in the nurse’s office. Please refer to the guidelines below. We will update you as more information becomes available from the Department of Health.
- If you are COVID-19 positive -OR- If you have Respiratory illness symptoms (cough, runny nose, congestion, sneezing, or sore throat) AND a fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more:
- If you have Respiratory illness symptoms AND a household exposure (in the last 2 weeks) to COVID-19:
- If you have Respiratory illness symptoms but no household exposure:

Welcome back to school! Here are a few reminders from the Connecticut Department of Health regarding Covid-19 protocols.
The Norwich Public Schools will receive the Phase 3 distribution of COVID-19 self-test kits tomorrow, March 1, 2022. These kits are for the further protection of staff, children and families.
