Students come first! Education follows. We are here to make a difference in their lives.
Norwich Public Schools is an urban district nestled in a quaint city that is rich with diversity and history. We are comprised of two early learning centers, seven elementary schools, and two middle schools. We educate approximately 3,500 students yearly who range from Pre K to 8. As a small-town cultural hub, we assist families and engage the community by supporting over thirty spoken languages. We also have a Regional Adult Education Center that serves twelve cooperating towns. Many community members have passed through their program to learn English that later go on to become US citizens.

What Staff are Saying
Our district is unique because we are a team. It starts at the top — our superintendent models how to be a team player. Our administrators are team players. Staff are team players. Everyone in the district gathers at the beginning of the year for a convocation. It’s like a big pep rally that kicks off the year in a positive way! Katie Ruffo, Grade 2 Teacher
