Building Projects & Construction Updates
The School Building Committee was established by resolution on January 21, 2020. Community members can visit this page for updates on school construction projects, new school buildings, committee activities, and project milestones as work continues.
The School Construction Program is well underway. The program includes the construction of four new elementary schools, a new middle school, and the conversion of Huntington into Central Office space. Two schools (Stanton and Greenville) are currently under construction, and two additional schools (Uncas and Moriarty) are scheduled to begin construction in the coming months.
To help keep the community informed, Construction Solutions Group (CSG), Downes Construction, and O&G Industries will use this page to share project updates, construction progress, photos, and important information for each school under construction. Downes Construction serves as the Construction Manager for Stanton and Greeneville, while O&G Industries serves as the Construction Manager for Moriarty and Uncas. The same information is also available on the City of Norwich website to ensure the community has access to consistent and up-to-date project information regardless of which site they visit.
