Welcome to Teachers' Memorial Global Studies Magnet Middle School

Teachers’ Memorial Global Studies Magnet Middle School offers students an interdisciplinary, project-based education embedded within a rigorous, standards-based core curriculum. The educational experience centers on global competency in the 21st Century through our theme, Global Studies. Our students explore global issues through a local lens and develop Knowledge to Action Plan projects that focus on the personal impact of a problem in the local or larger global community. Students learn more about their heritage and reach a greater understanding one’s relationship to others. A service learning component built into the program teaches students about their connection and responsibility to the community, both local and global. World Language is offered in grades six, seven and eight. Our school features labs for distance learning and language, a video production studio, greenhouse, and planetarium, as well as, virtual-reality learning through Google.
