About Uncas Elementary School

We believe that all children can learn and make significant gains in academic achievement. We strive to reduce the achievement gap for all student groups while meeting individual student needs, interests, and abilities. Together we celebrate and foster students' creativity, citizenship, and intellectual development.

NORTH ON I-395 FROM SOUTH OF NORWICH
Take I-395N to CT-82E exit, exit 11, towards Downtown Norwich.
Merge onto CT-82/Salem Turnpike, which becomes CT-82/West Main Street at the four-way intersection.
Turn right at the light just past the People’s Bank onto Dunham Street.
Turn right at the stop sign onto Elizabeth Street Extension.
Uncas School is the third left.

SOUTH ON I-395 FROM NORTH OF NORWICH
Take I-395S to CT-82 exit, exit number 11, towards Downtown Norwich/Salem.
Keep left at the fork in the ramp.
Turn left onto CT-82/Salem Turnpike, which becomes CT-82/West Main Street at the four-way intersection.

FROM HARTFORD
Take CT-2E to I-395S exit, exit number 28S, towards CT-2A/New Haven.
Merge onto I-395S.
Take the CT-82- exit, exit number 11, towards Downtown Norwich/Salem.

Take CT-32S to CT-2E. Take I-395S, towards CT-2A/New Haven.
